Earlier this year, Redwood Fire Protection (RFP) asked Stuart Mitchell to consult on their new start up, becoming their lead mitigation assessment expert. RFP is led by President Jack Kimmich, who has gotten to know Mr. Mitchell over the years during consultations on the ecologically safe flame retardant called Komodo Defense Systems. A former Cal Fire contractor, Jack jumped into action during the Palisades Fire, where his crew provided just in time applications of Komodo to home parcels, private driveways, and neighborhoods. This intervention reduced risk to people, homes, and communities as the fire raged nearby. This experience inspired Jack to start RFP with the mission of mitigating fire risk to homes, HOAs, estates, commercial properties, and utility infrastructure. Along with Steve Wolf of Team Wildfire, and landscape architect Rhadiante Van de Voorde, Redwood Fire Protection has put together a top notch band of fire prevention experts.
